Brewing in the Deep
The Deep has no nether, so how are you supposed to brew potions without blaze rods or nether warts?
You can't. Luckily, McMMO fishing has a chances for the player to fish up blaze rods, so you'll have to use fishing if you want the real ultimate potion power. Using a special sign, you can trade one of your blaze rods for a nether wart at the trade nexus of /warp deep. Find soul sand by excavating sand (another McMMO rare drop) and your alchemy apocalypse can begin.
So that's it. Just start fishing!
Bumming Around
Took some screenshots of some players bumming around the server today. You can see the Chapel of the Black Knight above, and the Temple of Robot below!
Got any cool screenshots of the server? Send 'em to us! Email on the sidebar.

Fishmonger Updated
The 1.7 change added some new fish to the game, so I've updated the Fishmonger in Shady Town to include the new fish and make fishing more profitable in general.
You can sell fish at the following prices:
Fish - $1000 (Up from $250)
Salmon - $2000
Pufferfish - $3000
Clownfish - $5000
Fish on ye Paladins.
New World: The Deep
Heads up to all Paladins, there will be a new world launching tonight so don't miss it!
UPDATE; The new world is open. Basically, wood and food are very expensive in the beginning, but you can sell ore for inflated prices. It's a Subterra world, so instead of empty sky there exists an extra 100 layers of stone. You can't use some commands, and you can't set a home point.
You can, however, /warp deep
Good luck!

Farmer's Market Payout Increased
To balance some of the recent changes to gold and iron, a few items at the Farmer's Market have had their price increased. Hopefully this will make farming these things more viable.
Carrots $2000 x 64 (Up from $1000)
Nether Warts $2000 x 64 (Up from $1000)
Poison Potatoes $2000 each! (Up from $500)
Leather $32000 x 64! (Up from $4000)
Happy farming!

New Dungeons and Quests!
Hey guys, it's Robot here with his first blog post. Hope to do more of these, but for now here is what I've been working on.
The Quest for the Chapel of the Black Knight
--------------------------------------------
Players journeyed over 20k to find the Black Chapel and the relics of the Knight who there rested. This was a one-time event, with a legendary sword, axe, and armor found in the tomb of the Knight hidden in a maze of catecombs.
The Great Library
----------------
A new dungeon appears! No warp exists to this dungeon, you have to find it on your on at x:3500, y:-4666 in QUEST. Learn the secrets of fire and read from deadly volumes of cursed lore. Read from the Book of Life and Death that the Necromancers guard so well...
--------
A new realm outside the normal flow of time and space. Planet X is not connected to the rest of the worlds on the server. No items may enter or leave Planet X. Start fresh and compete for resources without the help of the town! You can get to Planet X from the main steet.

Happy Birthday Paladins!
Today (Jan. 1) marks the first day that Paladins opened to the public. It was very slow going then and a very different place than it was today, but I think the core of the server remains the same.
I want to thank all the players (more than 4 000 unique logins so far) that have made it possible and made the server such a great place to spend time. I've added a new building in Spawn, where the Farmer's Market used to be. Be sure to collect everything you're entitled to.
We've had our ups and downs this year, from crashes and griefing raids to holiday dungeons and mega events, but I think we've come out a better place than we started at and hopefully will continue building and expanding in the future.
Happy New Year!
